Crystal IS

Crystal IS, an Asahi Kasei company, was established in 1997 to pioneer the development of native aluminum nitride (AlN) substrates for more reliable and higher-performance semiconductor devices. This cutting-edge technology is now employed to produce superior-quality ultraviolet (UV) light-emitting diodes (LEDs), including deep ultraviolet (UVC) LEDs. These LEDs are incorporated into end products designed to disinfect air, water, and various surfaces across a wide range of applications. Crystal IS LEDs also serve as light sources for industrial and scientific instrumentation.
